Epic Games just announced the free game of the week for June 1, 2023, and it’s one you might have originally missed.
Mightnight Ghost Hunt is an interesting take on the hide-and-seek genre. Players must engage in a deceptive cat-and-mouse game in two teams of four. Usually $19.99, the game will be completely free from June 1-8, 2023, and will return to a paid game at 11 a.m. ET.
Midnight Ghost Hunt Gameplay Breakdown
Midnight Ghost Hunt is a 4v4 multiplayer game where players can assume the role of ghosts or ghost hunters. As ghost hunters, your goal is to find, trap, and destroy the spirits; as the ghosts, your goal is to escape with your soul intact by possessing inanimate objects, laying traps, and lashing back at the hunters.
Once a timer runs down, ghosts then turn the tables, turning into vengeful spirits that track down the hunters to destroy them.
