The world of Minecraft is constantly evolving and changing. New features and blocks are always being added, and players can create almost anything they desire with a high level of customization. To help give players a little more selection for their in-game appearance, some new skins will be making their way into the game. Here’s what we know about the 7 new Minecraft default skins making their way to the game in the 1.20 update.
What are the New Minecraft Default Skins?
In a recent preview of Update 1.20, Mojang announced that seven new default skins will be coming to Minecraft. This is a big deal for the community, as it means that there will be more customization options for players.
The seven new Minecraft default skins are:
- Sunny
- Efe
- Noor
- Makena
- Kai
- Ari
- Zuri
These skins will be available to all players, regardless of whether they have purchased the game. This is a great move by Mojang, as it will allow players to have more control over their game experience and provides a greater representation of the player base.
How to Get New Minecraft Default Skins
While players have to wait until January 2023 to get all of the fun new updates coming in the 1.20 Update, such as a new Camel mob and Chiseled Bookshelf, they don’t need to wait near as long for these special default skins.
To get the new Minecraft default skins, players must log into their games starting November 29, 2022. Then, go into the wardrobe to select the new default skins. Since these are default, they will be available for any player and will be joining the ranks of Steve and Alex for even more fun with friends.
