Hockey fans have something extra to look forward to next month, with the release of NHL 23. Every year, EA Sports releases the latest in NHL sports gaming, and this year’s NHL 23 looks to improve over last year’s game. Here’s what we know so far about NHL 23, including the release date, trailer, and details for the game.
When Does NHL 23 Release?
NHL23 releases on October 14, 2022, on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Those who preorder the game will gain early-access and can play the game 3 days before it launches. This will make it playable for those that preorder on October 11, 2022.
What can players expect in NHL 23?
NHL 23 brings a new “Last Chance” puck mechanic that enables players to control where the puck goes after being shoved or moved. This increases immersion and will make scrambles a lot more exciting.
If you’ve always wanted more plays in NHL, then you’re lucky because NHL 23 enhances and adds to the plays and strategies you can implement on the rink. This also applies to AI, which will be more sophisticated for this entry.
