PlayStation Showcase to Unveil New PS5 and VR2 Games

Sony's PlayStation is gearing up to give gamers a glimpse into the future.

The PlayStation Showcase is set to broadcast live next Wednesday, May 24, at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. UTC, promising an hour-long show.

The PlayStation Showcase will focus on the latest games in development for PS5 and PS VR2 from top studios worldwide, as recently announced via the PlayStation Blog. Viewers can expect a sneak peek at several new creations from PlayStation Studios and captivating games from third-party partners and indie creators.

The live broadcast will kick off next Wednesday, May 24, at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. UTC on YouTube and Twitch.

Prior PlayStation Showcases have featured new game announcements, console updates, and other exciting news about topics gamers have been waiting for. While rumors have been absolutely swirling for this release, PlayStation has remained fairly tight-lipped regarding details, so we’ll have to watch the broadcast for ourselves on the 24th.

For those planning to co-stream or create Video-On-Demand (VOD) content from the showcase, please be aware that the web broadcast may include copyrighted content, such as licensed music, that PlayStation does not control. While PlayStation celebrates and welcomes its amazing co-streamers and creators, licensing agreements outside of their control could potentially interfere with co-streams or VOD archives of this stream.
