In a blog post today, The Pokemon GO team announced that a new type of Incense is coming to the game–the Daily Adventure Incense. Players can use this Incense before they start exploring to encounter some strange Pokemon that don’t normally appear frequently in the wild. How to Get the Daily Adventure Incense in Pokemon GO
The Daily Adventure Incense becomes available when players finish a specific Special Research task. After completion, the special Incense will appear in the player’s bag. Players can only receive one Daily Adventure Incense per day and can only hold one at a time.
How Does the Daily Adventure Incense Work in Pokemon GO?
The Daily Adventure Incense lasts for 15 minutes after activation. Trainers cannot use other types of Incense while the Daily Adventure Incense is active, and vice versa. While active, trainers can explore areas for a chance to encounter Pokemon not frequently seen in the wild.
Players can learn more about the Incense in-game after completing the associated Special Research task. The task also provides you with some bonus XP.
How to Activate the Daily Adventure Incense in Pokemon GO?
To activate the Daily Adventure Incense:
- Open your Item Bag in Pokemon GO.
- Select or swipe on the Daily Adventure Incense to use it.
- Blue fog will surround you while the Daily Adventure Incense is active.
There are a couple of things to note. First, players can only get one Daily Adventure Incense daily, which disappears from your bag after activation. Also, the Daily Adventure Incense does not contribute to your overall bag space limit.
As long as the Daily Adventure Incense is active and you’re moving around, Pokemon will automatically come to you. After the duration of the Daily Adventure Incense expires, you’ll be shown a recap of all the Pokemon you caught during that time.
To ensure everyone can enjoy this feature, players low on Poke Balls who activate the Daily Adventure Incense will be given 30 total Poke Balls.
