Increased Ghost Encounters in Pokemon GO’s Halloween Event
With Pokemon GO, the Halloween event is one of the most popular among players. This is because of the increased rate of Ghost-type Pokemon, one of the more difficult types to find throughout the rest of the year.
The first part will start on October 20, 2022, and players can look forward to seeing double candy earned for any Pokemon they hatch, capture or transfer during the event.
Double Candy and New Cosmetics
On top of earning double candy, players will also be able to earn XL candy for their partner Pokemon, provided they are above level 31. This can be a huge boost to their Pokemon that go out and about with them and can make this a great time to get active – especially with the cooler fall weather.
With more to discover in cosmetics, including a fun new pose, a Dusclops Costume, and a Zubat-inspired hat, players can surely get into the season’s spirit.
To top it all off, the soundtrack will feature the classic Lavender Town music to keep the spooky mood of the season.
Players who want to join in on the fun can download Pokemon GO for free on Android and iOS devices and get started on their ghost-hunting journey when the Halloween Event, Part 1, drops on October 20, 2022.
