Hack-and-Slash games like Undecember and Diablo are fun, but someone needs to make all those potions the heroes keep gulping down. On that note, developers Voracious Games are bringing us Potionomics this October. Through a mix of brewing and skilled negotiation, players can see their shop grow and thrive. Here’s the Potionomics release date, trailer, and details.
What is the Potionomics Release Date?
Potionomics is releasing on October 17, 2022. Players can check it out on PC via Steam. While no other platforms have yet been announced, we’ll let you know if Potionomics is coming to other platforms, including consoles.
Potionomics Trailer: What is Potionomics?
Potionomics is a shop simulator with an emphasis on potion-brewing and interacting with different characters. Players join the witch Sylvia in the town of Rafta, running her deceased uncle’s potion store. There’s a massive debt to be paid, and that’s by being the best potion store in town. Just making the potions isn’t enough either.

Customers need more than a bubbling vial to pass the coins across the counter; they need a sales pitch. Sylvia has to build up their interest and close the deal through a deck-based negotiation system.
In addition, Sylvia can befriend adventurers and other shopkeeps to improve her skills. She’ll need all the help she can get for the potion competitions teased in the trailer.
The colorful cast of expressive characters and varied mechanics suggest Potionomics will be an engrossing title. The real question is: Can we pet the owl?
