Capcom has been doing a great job in survival horror with Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village. They’re keeping their momentum going with an upcoming stream. Read on for the Resident Evil Showcase Date, Time, and details for October 2022.
When is the Resident Evil Showcase?
The Resident Evil Showcase date is October 20, 2022 at 3 p.m. PDT / 6 p.m. EDT / 11 p.m. BST. The stream will be shown on Twitch.
There’s a mix of old and new in Thursday’s showcase. Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition and the Resident Evil 4 remake will be discussed in the stream. Head to the Resident Evil Twitch Page to watch the stream for yourself.
What Will Be Featured in the Resident Evil Showcase?
Gold Edition is bringing a new story, Shadows of Rose, centered on Ethan’s daughter, Rosemary Winters. On top of that, 3 new characters and 2 new stages are coming to Mercenaries mode, including a slightly downsized Lady Dimitrescu. There’s also a third-person mode for old-school RE fans or those who just want to see more with the shifted camera.
Resident Evil 4 Remake
The Resident Evil 4 remake is featured too. The original Resident Evil 4 is a great game that’s released on 3 different generations of consoles at least. That said, it’s been over 15 years since the original Gamecube release. Between that and the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes coming out in 2019 and 2020, it’s clearly time for this classic to get an overhaul.
