Saints Row to Receive over 200 Bug Fixes and Updates

A plagued launch might give birth to a good game

Saints Row is getting a big update next month that will fix “over 200” bugs and improve stability, among other things. The news comes courtesy of a post on the official Saints Row blog page, which details all the changes in the November update. While the specific details of the update are sparse, the blog post mentions that the fixes will target problems such as challenges, overall stability, and co-op.

Overall Improvement to the Stability of Saints Row

Of course, while players would like to get additional content added to the game, developer Deep Silver Volition has stated that improving the game takes precedence over adding new content to the game.

According to the blog,

“This update will include many requested improvements including reducing repetition in some activities, making challenges more rewarding, improving vehicle management, a revamp of rumble and haptic features, and more.”

So while gamers may not get new content with this update, it should make playing the game a much smoother and less buggy experience.

The Update to Saints Row Releases Next Month

Since the launch of the 5th game in the Saints Row series in August, many problems have plagued the game’s release. Next month, Volition is seeking to fix some of these problems when the update releases in November.

Fans can look forward to new cosmetic packs coming out as the end of the year moves closer. Players will be able to get a few different free cosmetic packs to help them stand out in the game. The first is called the Front to Back Pack and is available this week.
