To make a Home Portal in Slime Rancher 2, visit the Fabricator in the basement of The Conservatory, navigate to the Warp Tech tab, and select Yellow Home Portal. You will need 250 Newbucks, 10 Jellystone, 10 Cotton Plort, and 10 Deep Brine to craft the Yellow Home Portal.
The Home Portal is considered a Gadget, and to place items like this, you’ll need to enter Gadget Mode (T key on the PC). While in Gadget Mode, you can look for areas where you can place Gadgets, like the Home Portal. The best spot to place it will be far away from your base, in an area you’re currently exploring.
To place the Home Portal, enter Gadget Mode, find an open spot to install it, press E on the PC to activate the location, and then navigate to the Warp Tech tab. Install the Home Portal, and you’ll be able to walk through it go get back to The Conservatory easily. When you walk through the Portal, you’ll end up a little bit south of your main base.
The nice thing about Home Portals is you can make a bunch of them. All you’ll need to do is farm up the materials again and demolish the old one, which isn’t too difficult.
