There are tons of resources to collect in Slime Rancher 2, some of which can be a bit difficult to pinpoint. One such resource is Wild Honey, and you’ll need this ingredient to craft a few things at the Fabricator. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Wild Honey in Slime Rancher 2.
Where to Find Wild Honey in Slime Rancher 2
Wild Honey is found in the striped beehives found in the Starlight Strand island in Slime Rancher 2. There are lots of beehives all around the Starlight Strand region, and you can typically find them on the pink bonsai trees in areas with Honey Slime.
Here’s one example location where you will find Wild Honey:
You may confuse Wild Honey with Buzz Wax, another material that comes from beehives on trees. The main difference here is that Buzz Wax hives are not bright yellow and do not have striped nests.
Each nest will net you between two to three Wild Honey. It’s technically a food type but does not belong to any food category. That’s mainly because it is used as an ingredient for the Fabricator. For that reason, all your Wild Honey can go directly into the refinery at The Conservatory.
Wild Honey is required for a few different items in the Fabricator, including:
- Pulse Wave: Adds a pulse wave emitted feature to your vacpack that pushes away slimes whenever you need some personal space.
- Taming Bell: The dulcet tone of this curious bell will calm the anger of any feral slime that hears it.
Many other items in the game are yet to be discovered. Wild Honey may also be used in some of those undiscovered recipes.
