How to Level Down Items in Survivor.io
To level down items in Survivor.io, go to the Equipment tab and tap on an item that has been leveled up. Tap on the red recycle button on the top right of the item, and then select Level Down.
On the Survivor.io Equipment Level Down screen, you’ll get a full rundown of all the resources that will be refunded to you when you complete the Level Down process. As the in-game disclaimer says, Level Down refunds 100% of Designs and Gold. The resulting item will, of course, also go back to level one.
So, why would you ever want to level down a piece of equipment in Survivor.io? That’s a good question with a simple answer. Let’s say you leveled up the Kunai weapon because it’s all you had. Then, by a stroke of luck, you found yourself a Lightchaser. The new weapon is much better, so you’ll probably want to equip it.
The problem, however, is that you probably spent all of your Weapon Designs upgrading your Kunai. By choosing to Level Down your Kunai, you’ll get back 100% of the Gold and Weapon Designs you used to upgrade the Kunai, so you can spend them on your Lightchaser and level it up!
Remember this little trick, as it will help you level up each of your item slots to get more health and attack, and progress further through the game!
