Ubisoft just announced a brand new The Division game for mobile devices. The Divison Resurengence looks to be The Division, well… made for your mobile device. Read on for early gameplay footage and a breakdown of the game.
What is The Division Resurgence?
The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play, third-person shooter developed by Ubisoft. The game follows up with the events from The Division and The Division 2. Much like the first game in the series, Resurgence is set in New York City with a complete cast of NPCs and background characters with their own stories.
The gameplay will feel similar but optimized for mobile controls if you’ve played prior iterations in the franchise. In Resurgence, you’ll be tasked with completing quests and upgrading your gear to level up and unlock new skills and equipment. Character customization will be key.
An early-access beta period will be available to select individuals.
The Division Resurgence will be available on both the Google Play and iOS App Stores.

How Do I Sign Up for The Division Resurgence Beta?
To sign up for The Division Resurgence beta:
- Visit the Ubisoft site for The Division Resurgence.
- Click the Register button.
- Connect your Google Play or App Store accounts to your Ubisoft account.
- Fill out the short questionnaire.

Ubisoft has not clarified who will gain access to the beta, but it probably helps if you have a phone capable of running the game.
