Tin Hearts Puzzle Game to Launch as Nintendo Switch Exclusive

Tin Hearts, winner of the “Most Wanted Nintendo Switch Game” award at Gamescom 2022, will launch as a Nintendo Switch exclusive on April 20, 2023.

If you are looking for a heart-warming puzzle game fit for gamers of any age, then the highly-anticipated Tin Hearts might be a title worth investigating. Wired Productions and Rogue Sun are teaming up to bring Tin Hearts to Nintendo Switch on April 20, 2023. Tin Hearts is an artisanal interactive entertainment game promising to deliver a heartwarming story of love and compromise through over 40 levels of puzzles and riddles.

The game follows the story of Albert J. Butterworth, a genius inventor from Victorian times. Players will solve increasingly complex puzzles and forge new paths for their toys to follow in order to unravel the compelling story in this fantasy world.

Tin Hearts will be a timed Nintendo Switch exclusive, available for one month before its release on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on May 16, 2023. The game will be available on PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. A VR version of the game is also set to release later this year.

Tin Hearts Gameplay Trailer

The gameplay trailer for Tin Hearts showcases a variety of elaborate puzzles and objects to control, all narrated by Designer Reece Cobb from Rogue Sun. Throughout the almost 2 minute trailer, Cobb shows off some of the in-game puzzles players will experience when the game launches later in April.

Reminiscent of classic titles like Lemmings, your goal is to get your tin soldiers to the finish line with creative puzzles and items. Unlike the said title, however, there is a deeper message and emotional story behind the core gameplay.

Kostas Zarifis, Managing Director at Rogue Sun, expressed his appreciation for the Nintendo community and announced the timed exclusive launch of Nintendo Switch. He said,

“After winning ‘Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Game’ at Gamescom last year, we wanted to celebrate all the love we’ve been receiving from the Nintendo community, and this timed exclusive launch felt like a great way to do just that.”

Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions, emphasized the importance of mixing things up and acknowledged the support from Nintendo and its fans. He said,

“Launching games is getting tougher, sometimes it is worth mixing things up. With the love shown by Nintendo and Nintendo fans, it made sense to give those players a chance to experience the wholesome Tin Hearts… especially before Zelda comes and takes over.”
