New Chart Toppers

There are only a few shake-ups this week as far as top games are concerned. We still have Vampire Survivors, ELDEN RING, Stardew Valley, Cult of the Lamb, Hades, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and No Man’s Sky on the list. What’s changed, however, is the addition of Cyberpunk 2077 and Disney Dreamlight, which take the place of MultiVersus and MONSTER HUNTER RISE.

ICYMI: Cyberpunk 2077 has seen a massive resurgence in players since the debut of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix. The show has gone on to become one of Netflix’s top-rated series of all time. New players and returning players alike can’t get enough of Night City and have been flocking to the game to reenact scenes from the show, like David Martinez’s build.

Disney Dreamlight Valley, on the other hand, is the polar opposite of the future dystopia known as Night City. Disney Dreamlight Valley, developed and published by Gameloft, is a relaxing adventure life sim game where players build a neighborhood alongside Disney and Pixar characters from popular IPs.

It’s also worth noting that Multiversus, the number eight game last month, has seen a drastic drop in users. At the time of writing, it’s sitting at around 6,000 concurrent players on Steam. That’s a big drop from its all-time high of just over 150,000 during its launch at the end of July.

What’s going to top the charts in October? Will the most popular games remain the same, or will a new challenger approach and take over? We’ll have to wait and see, but we’ll be sure to update you again next month!
