Valkyrie Elysium will soon be released for the PS4 and PS5, brought to us by Square-Enix. The Valkyrie series has been away from consoles for some time, with the only recent entry, Valkyrie Anatomia, releasing for iOS and Android in April of 2016 before the global servers shut down in 2020. The original series consisted of turn-based RPGs, but the new title has shifted to Action RPG. Here’s what you need to know about Valkyrie Elysium, including the release date, trailer, and details.
What is Valkyrie Elysium?
In a world inspired by Norse Mythology, All-Father Odin is preparing for the cataclysmic event of Ragnarok. He creates the titular Valkyrie for the task of saving the realm, granting her the ability to summon the spirits of warriors as Einherjar. These new allies grant extra abilities, adding to the Valkyrie’s own arsenal of weapons, combos, and special attacks.
In addition, these spirits also tie into the storyline, being the remains of people with their own thoughts, desires, and regrets. The gameplay alternates traversing open environments, battling assorted enemies, meeting new spirits to add to your party, and pitched boss fights.

What is the Valkyrie Elysium Release Date?
Valkyrie Elysium will release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 29, 2022.
Will Valkyrie Elysium Come Out on PC?
PC players can access the game as of November 11, 2022 through Steam.
