What is Sweet Transit?
Sweet Transit is a strategic city-building game focusing on railway transit. Like many games in the genre, you’ll begin with a meager beginning and build up your world into multiple interconnecting towns with citizens, economies, and public transit.
What is the Gameplay Like in Sweet Transit?
Don’t be fooled by the name; Sweet Transit is more than just a train-building simulator. Like Factorio and Satisfactory, Sweet Transit is focused on automation and production in addition to logistics and town building.
In Sweet Transit, you aim to build a network of production chains to ensure a steady supply of resources for your citizens and trains. That’s where the trains come in. To quickly and efficiently jetty resources from one locale to the next, you’ll need to build efficient train routes.
Created by Ernestas Norvaišas, the former 3D artist on Factorio, Sweet Transit has the same art style as Factorio, but incorporates more town-sim aspects. If you like other town-sim games like Tropico or Sim City but yearn for a little more complexity, Sweet Transit is the game for you.
Production buildings include farms, factories, coal mines, and more. In addition to efficiently producing goods and processing resources, you’re also tasked with keeping your populace happy by providing the proper amenities and structures.

When Does Sweet Transit Release?
Sweet Transit releases on Steam on July 28, 2022, for the PC.
