Amazon Prime has just announced their Prime Gaming Ultimate Showdown–a variety game tournament of champions culminating in a grand finale at TwitchCon 2022 in San Diego. While much has not been released about the show yet, here’s everything we know about the event, including how to snag free Twitch rewards.
What is the Prime Gaming Ultimate Showdown?
There are a plethora of different games that are going to be played for the Prime Gaming Ultimate Showdown. According to the official Prime Gaming Blog, the tournament will include FPS, MMO, survival, and MOBA games.
The tournament will consist of 5 pre-qualifying rounds across the world. The top 5 players from each round will then participate in the live finale at TwitchCon in October in San Diego, USA. The finalists will support charity and play with famous Twitch personalities.
Here’s a list of all the qualifying rounds. You’ll be able to watch the action on the Prime Gaming Twitch channel.
- Pre-qualifier: June 25 at 6 p.m. PDT: Tournament Launch (Seattle at the Showbox SoDo)
- Pre-qualifier: July 16–17: During TwitchCon AMS(Amsterdam)
- Pre-qualifier: August 24–28: During Gamescom (Germany)
- Pre-qualifier: September 15–18: During Tokyo Game Show (Japan)
- Grand Finale: October 7–9: During TwitchCon 2022 (San Diego)
How Do I Get Free Rewards?
