This woman from England had to catch 'em all

Pokemon is the most popular video game series of all time. For more than 26 years, players have been enthralled by everything the Pokemon universe has to offer. From games to anime, movies, books, comics, and trading cards, there is so much for players to collect as fans of the series. Recently, however, the world’s largest Pokemon collection has been picked up to be auctioned off. Due to the sheer magnitude of the collection, it is expected to fetch over $300,000 when all is said and done.

World’s Largest Pokemon Collection Contains over 20,000 Items

As the world’s largest Pokemon collection, fans of the game would be amazed at what this collection has in store for them. Included in the massive 20,000-item-strong catalog is everything players can imagine, from toys to cards, games, plushies, and more.

The collection belongs to a woman from Hertfordshire, England, who wishes to remain anonymous, according to the BBC. Fans of the series can try their luck at winning this fantastic haul of items when it goes on sale on October 18, 2022. The enormous collection is being auctioned off by the individual citing “financial reasons.”

The items will be auctioned off as a single lot by a local auction firm, Hansons Auctioneers, based out of Etwall, Derbyshire, which believes the auction could fetch up to $300,000 or more. It will be interesting to see how much the auction ultimately goes for when one lucky bidder gets to “catch ’em all” when they win the world’s biggest Pokemon collection.
