Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is on Sale for $1

PC Game Pass is also back for a buck, but the company is raising prices.

Microsoft is bringing back the highly-loved $1 introductory sale for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as a limited-time offer on their website. This comes off the heels of an announcement that the program will also be raising its prices for the regular monthly subscription after the promotional month.

The standard Game pass will increase a dollar, from $9.99 to $10.99, while Game Pass Ultimate will rise from $14.99 to $16.99. This is, of course, after the $1 introductory month if you decide to go that route.

For a long time, users could scoop up the PC Game pass for $1, which grants access to a huge library of titles. However, back in March Microsoft announced that it would not be offering it for $1 anymore and would instead be “evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future,” according to Kari Perez, head of global comms for Xbox.

It appears, perhaps, that this might be what they were talking about, though — we’re not quite sure how it’s different at all.

Players can get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for a dollar for a limited time on the official Xbox website
