Amnesia: The Bunker Release Delayed Again

Amnesia: The Bunker, the upcoming horror-survival game by Frictional Games, is delayed for the fourth time.

I feel like I’m experiencing Deja Vu, but today, I’m here to report that Amnesia: The Bunker, the highly anticipated upcoming horror survival title, is delayed once again, this time to June 6, 2023.

As reported previously, Amnesia: The Bunker was first set to release in March 2023, then the date was pushed to May 16, then again to May 23, and now the date is officially June 6, 2022.

According to the developers, Frictional Games:

The release of Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed by two weeks due to unforeseen certification issues. This decision is crucial to ensure we do not ship the game with these issues. The extra time will allow us to rectify the problem and ensure the best possible gameplay experience upon release. We thank you for your understanding and patience.

Frictional Games is a small developer in southern Sweden, so delays are understandable. We just hope that the June date is now the solid date, and we’ll be able to get our hands on the game soon.

Amnesia: The Bunker Demo Available May 22

The good news, however, is that players can get their hands on an early demo build for the game starting May 22, 2023, on Steam. For that, visit the Amnesia: The Bunker Steam Page on the 22nd; you should be able to download the demo for free.

We’ve reached out to our contact at Frictional Games and will update this post if they respond with a comment.
