Often compared to the SPR from Modern Warfare, the SP-X 80 is an MW2 sniper that offers high damage combined with decent mobility and ADS. With the right loadout, you can optimize it to make it the perfect weapon for a player who prefers more aggressive sniper play.

- Barrel: 16″ ZLR Executor 80 Barrel
- Laser: CORIO LAZ-44 V3
- Stock: PVZ-890 Tac Stock
- Grip: Schlager Match Grip
- Secondary: Combat Knife
- Tactical: Stim
- Lethal: Semtex
- Perks: Bomb Squad, Tracker, Fast Hands, Ghost
- Field Upgrade: Munitions Box, Tactical Insertion
As for the barrel, we’d recommend the shortest one for ADS speed, which is the 16″ ZLR Executor 80 Barrel. We also for with the Corio Laz-44 V3 for increased ADS Speed and Aiming Stability.
Similarly, the PVZ-890 Tac Stock also further improves ADS Speed, as well as Sprint Speed. Finally, the Schlager Match Grip also offers ADS and Sprint to Fire Speed.
This is the ideal setup for 6v6 Multiplayer games, but you can consider removing the barrel for modes like Ground War.
For an alternate secondary, consider running Overkill and using the SA-B 50 for your close-range battles since that Marksman Rifle has far superior mobility and the ability to one-shot.

How to Unlock the SP-X 80 in MW2
To unlock the SP-X 80 in Modern Warfare 2, you’ll need to get the LA-B 330 to Level 17. Unlocking the LA-B 330 requires getting the SA-B 50 Marksman Rifle to Level 16, and unlocking the SA-B 50 requires getting the SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle to Level 13.
