How to Get a Go-Kart in Core Keeper

Vroom Vroom, here's how you can snag your very own go-kart in Core Keeper.

The world of Core Keeper is certainly a big one, and getting around it can take quite a while. With so many biomes to explore, it can feel overwhelming to go anywhere. Luckily, if you are looking for a fast way to move around, go-karts are the answer. However, getting these karts is not the easiest task in the world.

So what exactly do these go-karts do in Core Keeper, and how can you get one to dash around the world? Read on to find out.

Getting Go-Karts in Core Keeper

To obtain a go-kart in Core Keeper, players must defeat Glurch the Abominable Mass, Ghorm the Devourer, and The Hive Mother, then power the core and collect the materials required for the go-kart. Then, you’ll need to collect the proper materials and craft the Go-Kart Workbench at the Galaxite Workbench. Once built, you’ll have access to the new go-karts.

In Core Keeper, there are currently three variations of the Go-Kart that you can get, each with increasingly harder-to-obtain materials. For an in-depth breakdown, see below.

Crafting the Go-Kart Workbench

Before you can craft the Go-Kart Workbench, defeat the following bosses:

  • Glurch the Abominable Mass
  • Ghorm the Devourer
  • The Hive Mother

This is required because you must explore the three special biomes in the center of the map and collect supplies from each of them to build the go-kart. This is done by powering up the Core and is not something to be taken lightly. However, once the way has been opened, players will need to obtain the following items:

  • 70 Coral Planks from the Sunken Sea biome
  • 35 Galaxite Bars from the Desert of Beginnings biome
  • 20 Scarlet Bars from the Azeos’ Wilderness biome

Once you have all of the ingredients, you can use them to craft a Go-Kart Workbench using the Galaxite Workbench.

Crafting Go-Karts

Once the workbench has been made, that is, unfortunately, only part of the battle toward getting a go-kart. Now, with the workbench in place, you must obtain crafting materials. There are 3 different go-karts, which are listed here in the order of slowest to fastest, with increasingly harder materials to obtain:

Primitive Go-Kart

  • 100 Tin Bar
  • 100 Copper Bar
  • 30 Mechanical Part

Renegade Go-Kart

  • 380 Galaxite Bar
  • 250 Iron Bar
  • 250 Copper Bar
  • 70 Mechanical Part

Speeder Go-Kart

  • 380 Galaxite Bar
  • 250 Scarlet Bar
  • 250 Copper Bar
  • 70 Mechanical Part

With a go-kart made, players can now zoom around the world faster.
