The third Helliquary boss is officially live in Diablo Immortal as of August 2, 2022. That means a new trophy is up for grabs to boost your combat rating. Here’s everything you need to know about Gorgothra The Claimer, the new Helliquary raid boss in Diablo Immortal.
Last month, we saw Vitaath the Shivering make its way into the Helliquary raid lineup.
Who is Gorgothra The Claimer in Diablo Immortal?
Gorgothra is a Helliquary raid boss in Diablo Immortal, and the third Wrathborne demon to plague Sanctuary. She possesses petrification rays, bilious venom, and serpentine strikes said to dwarf the power of Lassal and Vitaath.
Gorgothra The Claimer raid recommends a CR of 2935 for Difficulty 1. Gorgothra The Claimer Difficulty 2 recommends a Combat Rating of 4065.
The reward for defeating Gorgothra The Claimer is the Petrified Fang, which provides +30 Combat Rating Bonus Attribute, and +10% Critical Hit Chance (Challenge Rifts only) Special Attributes. The third raid boss also opens up another opportunity for adventurers to pick up more Scoria every week.
As for the Gorgothra fight itself, a few new mechanics are new to this raid. Upon starting the fight, there are a few adds that should be taken care of, but nothing too serious. The first attack Gorgothra will do is a bile venom spit, so you’ll want to avoid the pools of poison on the ground.
Gorgothra’s second attack puts circles underneath enemies and players, which should be avoided as they deal damage over time. You’ll also notice a stone forming above your head during this time. When the stone is finished forming, it will drop to the ground and explode in four directions. Do your best to avoid the stone before it hits the ground. Failure to avoid this petrifies you for four seconds.
The next phase spawns stone statues around the boss in a circle. These statues charge up and release a fire beam attack, which can petrify you on hit. Try to stay away from the front of the statues to avoid taking damage.
