Diablo Immortal Legendary Gem Drop Rates

Here are the Diablo Immortal Legendary Gem drop rates for using Legendary Crests and Rare Crests in Elder Rifts.

If you want to get more Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal, your options are limited. A safer play is to purchase platinum and buy the exact gems you want off the auction house. However, in true Diablo fashion, you can also gamble by spending your Legendary Crests at the Elder Rift. With Elder Rifts being the primary source of these gems, you might be wondering about the drop rates. Below, you can check out the Diablo Immortal Legendary Gem drop rates taken directly from the in-game rate card.

Diablo Immortal has three types of Legendary Gems: 1-Star Gems, 2-Star Gems, and 5-Star Gems. The higher-tier gems offer more resonance, boosting your character’s overall stats. They are also much more expensive to upgrade due to their rarity. If you’re considering purchasing Eternal Orbs to exchange for Legendary Crests, do yourself a favor and learn about your chances of getting those good rare gems.

Diablo Immortal Elder Rift Drop Rates

Rare Crests and Legendary Crests can be put into Elder Rifts to receive better loot. Rare Crests reward runes and a chance for a Legendary Gem. Legendary Crests reward runes and a guaranteed Legendary Gem. Using 10 Legendary Crests creates an Empowered Rift with 6 modifiers, dropping 10 times the rewards of a single Legendary Crest. Below is a breakdown of the Legendary Gem drop rates.

Diablo Immortal Legendary Gem Drop Rates

These are the Legendary Gem drop rates for Elder Rifts using Legendary Crests:

  • 1-Star Legendary Gem – 75.395%
  • 2-Star Legendary Gem – 20.105%
  • 5-Star Legendary Gem – 4.5%

Every 50 Legendary Crests guarantees one 5-Star Legendary Gem. The guarantee counter for Eternal Legendary Crests is separate from that of Legendary Crests. Eternal Legendary Crests are crests bought with Eternal Orbs.

5-Star Legendary Gems have a 4.5% drop chance, but each 5-star can be one of our rarities. Here are the 5-Star Legendary Gem drop rates:

  • 2/5 Star 5-Star – 75%
  • 3/5 Star 5-Star – 20%
  • 4/5 Star 5-Star – 4%
  • 5/5 5-Star – 1%

We know each 5-Star Legendary Gem has a 4.5% chance of dropping, but it can be one of four rarities. That means your chances of getting a particular 5-Star Legendary Gem per each Legendary Crest used is:

  • 2/5 Star 5-Star – 3.375%
  • 3/5 Star 5-Star – 0.9%
  • 4/5 Star 5-Star – 0.18%
  • 5/5 Star 5-Star – 0.045%

Note that this does not take into account the game’s pity system, which guarantees a random rarity 5-Star Legendary Gem for every 50 Legendary Crests spent. Therefore, your actual chances are slightly higher than those listed above, and these numbers are just theoretical.
