If you want to be the ultimate hunter in Dinkum, one of the end-game weapons you can get is a Bone Bow. However, it’s not something you can craft and there doesn’t seem to be any residents selling it. Keep reading to learn how to get a Bone Bow in Dinkum.
How to Get a Bone Bow in Dinkum
To get a Bone Bow in Dinkum, visit Ted Selly when he whistles at you. From there, purchase a Bone Bow and Bone Arrows from him. He will appear randomly on the island in different locations but will stay in the same area for the entire day.
Ted is anti-social, so he doesn’t want to move in as a permanent resident. For this reason, it’s important to take advantage of him when you run into him. Crafting a Bone Bow in Dinkum when you get the chance is something you should do the moment you can!
To get a Bone Bow in Dinkum:
- Pay attention to the sounds around you, as you journey throughout your island, you’ll hear a whistle.
- Look around the area where you hear the whistle for a man with a pot on his head, Ted Selly.
- Hit E to talk to Ted Selly.
- Ask Ted Selly if he can craft you something.
- Purchase the Bone Bow and Bone Arrows.

Crafting Cost for Bone Bow and Bone Arrows
A Bone Bow costs 240,000 Dinks and requires the following materials to craft:
- Slingshot x1
- Bone x 20
- Iron Bar x2
- Copper Bar x2
4 Bone Arrow costs 500 Dinks and requires the following materials to craft:
- Bone x2
- Mangrove Stick x2
- Feather x2
Now you’ll be able to go on the hunt with a ranged weapon, the only one so far (outside of the Slingshot) in Dinkum. Keep in mind, that the cost of the Bone Bow and Bone Arrows in Dinkum is high–so this is considered an end-game weapon.
Using the Bone Bow in Dinkum
To use the Bone Bow in Dinkum, left-click to enter “bow-mode” and draw back your bow. Release left-click to fire the arrow. Right-click to exit bow-mode.
Now go out there and kill all the Alphas with your newly crafted bow!
