It’s time for the annual Halloween Event in Destiny 2, the Festival of the Lost, and each year brings special loot, candy, and fun masks to wear. One of the things that makes Festival of the Lost so fun is the spooky and secretive atmosphere created and the ability to earn secret rewards. To earn these secret rewards, though, you will need to earn Spectral Pages and be able to convert them into Manifested Pages to reveal Shrouded Pages. That’s a lot of pages, but the process to earn them is actually quite simple. Here is how to easily get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2.
How to Get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2
To get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2, visit Eva Levante at the Tower then interact with the book next to her. Equip a Festival of the Lost mask, then start earning your Spectral Pages by participating in PvE or PvP events. Finally, kill Headless Ones with Spectral Pages in your inventory to get Manifested Pages, which you can then use to get Shrouded Pages. Unlocking Shrouded Pages will let players earn special rewards!

Starting the Spectral Pages Quest
Like with any special event in Destiny 2, Eva Levante has made her way into the Tower, and she is ready to get players in a spooky mood. Speak with her and then interact with the book next to her to begin the quest line. In addition, you will need to equip any of the various Festival of the Lost masks to participate in the event. Choose your favorite mask, and after speaking with Eva, you can now begin collecting Spectral Pages.
Getting Spectral Pages
Spectral Pages can be earned by completing any of the various activity playlists in either PvE or PvP. For each activity completed while wearing a Festival of the Lost mask, you will earn Spectral Pages. After claiming some Spectral Pages, players can then enter the Haunted Sector playlist from the Tower, and complete the activity.
These are all the quests you can do to get more Spectral Pages in Destiny 2:
- Crucible: 3 Spectral Pages
- Gambit: 3 Spectral Pages
- Lost Sectors: 1 Spectral Page
- Public Events: 2 Spectral Pages
- Strikes and Nightfalls: 5 Spectral Pages
How to Transform Spectral Pages to Manifested Pages
To transform your Spectral Pages to Manifested Pages, kill Headless Ones with Spectral Pages in your inventory and you will automatically convert 1 Spectral Page to a Manifested Page with each Headless One killed.
Converting Manifested Pages into Shrouded Pages
Once players have 9 Manifested Pages, they can then return to the Tower to interact with the Book of the Forgotten. Doing so to with 9 Manifested Pages will convert to reveal 1 of the Shrouded Pages. Unlocking both of the Shrouded Pages will let players earn special rewards!
The special Festival of the Lost only runs until November 8, 2023, so Guardians will want to make sure they get their Spectral Pages and convert them before time runs out, as this event only happens once per year.
