The Core Keeper x Terraria crossover event is live, and Core Keeper players can now summon King Slime. If you don’t play Terraria, King Slime is a pre-hardmode boss–a gigantic blue slime with a crown. This guide will show you how to summon King Slime in Core Keeper and where to get the Crown Summoning Idol.
How to Summon King Slime in Core Keeper
To summon King Slime, you’ll need to obtain the Crown Summoning Idol and place it on the summoning rune of Glurch the Abominous Mass, Ivy the Poisonous Mass, or Morpha the Aquatic Mass.
The easiest thing to do is place the Crown Summoning Idol where you fight Glurch the Abominous Mass, located in the Dirt Biome. After placing the Crown Summoning Idle on the summoning rune for either of the three bosses, King Slime will spawn.
After defeating the King Slime in Core Keeper, he drops the King Slime Chest, which can include items like Royal Gel and King Slime Crown.
- Royal Gel: Any nearby enemies movement speed is slowed down by 15.3%.
- King Slime Crown: Epic Helmet that gives 23 maximum health, 11 armor, 3 glow, and 3% critical hit chance.
Both the Royal Gel and King Slime Crown are part of a two-piece set. Equipping both gives you the perk, “You are the king of the Slimes!” The effect makes Slimes friendly toward you.
How to get the Crown Summoning Idol in Core Keeper
The Crown Summoning Idol has a random drop chance when you kill Slime enemies. Slimes of any color have a chance to drop the item, but the drop chance is extremely low.
For that reason, you may want to have a Slime farm or kill Slimes in a brand new world. The more Slimes you kill, the better your odds of finding the Crown Summoning Idol.
That’s everything you need to know to summon King Slime in Core Keeper! It’s pretty straightforward, and the toughest part will be getting lucky enough to get the Idol to drop.
Core Keeper is available on Steam.
