Fans of the Batman series are in for an incredible experience with Gotham Knights when it releases next month on October 21, 2022. As an open-world RPG, Gotham Knights will let players explore an expansive and immersive Gotham City in the biggest and most interactive rendition of the Batman universe yet. But with so much to see and do, players are wondering, “is Gotham Knights cross-platform and cross-progression?”
Is Gotham Knights Cross Platform?
The official word from Warner Bros. is that there is no cross-platform planned at this time for Gotham Knights. While Gotham Knights is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as PC, you’ll need to play with others on the same device.
According to the game’s official FAQ page, online co-op will be available. However, players can only play with others on the same platform. While this may be disappointing for some players, it is always possible that cross-platform play will be enabled in Gotham Knights in the future. However, nothing official has been released on this topic.
As far as cross-progression is concerned, since each individual console has its own self-contained Gotham universe, there is also no cross-progression being planned at this time.
