When Does Phantom Abyss Release?
Phantom Abyss is making its way to the Xbox Game Pass as a Day One Release on October 20, 2022. While the game has already been around in Early Access since June of 2021, players have only been able to experience it on Steam.

What is Phantom Abyss?
For those unfamiliar with Phantom Abyss, the game is a fast-paced platformer that lets players participate in asynchronous multiplayer as they make their way through challenging temples in search of treasure. As players progress through increasingly difficult challenges on their way to a special relic, they will be able to see the ghosts of previous players that attempted to brave the temple before them.
Should players replicate their moves, they can continue until they get the treasure, or they, too, are claimed by the perils inside of the temple.
Brave the Temples Later This Month with Phantom Abyss
For those who want to get started with their search for relics, they can pick up their own subscription to Xbox Game Pass over at the official website. On top of getting first-day access to games such as Phantom Abyss, gamers can also receive other goodies such as in-game content and an ever-changing selection of quality games.
New players can try it out for $1 to get started on their Xbox Game Pass journey and play Phantom Abyss when it releases on Day One on October 20, 2022.
