The Pokemon GO Evolving Stars event is officially live in-game to celebrate Pokemon evolutions of all kinds. There’s a new Pokemon debut, some Field Research tasks, and, of course, some collection challenges. In this guide, we’ll detail how to complete the Pokemon GO Evolving Stars Collection Challenges.
The Evolving Stars event is live from October 5 to October 11 at 8 p.m. local time. That means players have a few days to knock these Collection Challenges off the list and get some rewards.
Pokemon GO Evolving Stars Collection Challenges
These are the four Evolving Stars Collection Challenges:
- Eevee Challenge
- Sinnoh Challenge
- Trade Challenge
- Unova Challenge
Evolving Stars: Eevee Challenge
To complete the Evolving Stars Eevee Challenge, players will need to obtain at least three Eevees and evolve them into Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon. All three of these Eeveelutions are totally random, so there is no way to influence the outcome.
- Evolve Eevee into Flareon
- Evolve Eevee into Jolteon
- Evolve Eevee into Vaporeon
- Reward: 1 Upgrade, 1 Metal Coat
Evolving Stars: Sinnoh Challenge
To complete the Evolving Stars Sinnoh Challenge, players must catch a few Sinnoh Pokemon, including Rhyhorn, Swinub, Ralts, and Duskull, and evolve them.
- Evolve a Rhyhorn into Rhydon
- Evolve a Swinub into Piloswine
- Evolve a Ralts into Kirlia
- Evolve a Duskull into Dusclops
- Rewards: Sinnoh Stone x2
Evolving Stars: Trade Challenge
To complete the Evolving Stars Trade Challenge, players must evolve Haunter and Kadabra into Gengar and Alakazam. An easy way to evolve them is by trading them with another player. If you’re having trouble, try joining the Pokemon GO Discord or asking a friend to send you a Haunter and Kadabra.
- Evolve a Haunter into Gengar
- Evolve a Kadabra into Alakazam
- Rewards: Dragon Scale, Sun Stone, Kings Rock
Evolving Stars: Unova Challenge
To complete the Evolving Stars Unova Challenge, players will need to collect a couple of Unova Pokemon, namely Tynamo and Litwick, and evolve them into Eelektrik and Lampent.
- Evolve a Tynamo into Eelektrik
- Evolve a Litwick into Lampent
- Rewards: Unova Stone x2
