Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Best Quaxly Nature

The cute Quaxly needs a nature to go with his outgoing personality.

When first starting out in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, trainers are given a pretty big decision of choosing their starter Pokemon. Unlike previous generations, in Generation 9, players are tasked with spending time with these three choices and must walk with them where they get to see each of their unique personalities and quirks.

But under the surface, each Pokemon has its own individual nature, which helps to define them in battle further. But what do natures do, and which are the best to use for Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Read on to find out.

What is the Best Nature for Quaxly in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

The best nature for Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval is the Adamant nature, which increases the Physical Attack stat but lowers the Special Attack. Another nature that can work well for players who want to get the first hit on a target can be the Jolly nature. This increases the Speed stat and lowers the Special Attack stat, making it a fine choice for a speedy sweeper such as Quaxly.

For Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval, trainers will notice that his playstyle revolves around being a fast-paced physical attacker, otherwise known as a physical sweeper. This means that players who aim to use Quaxly will want a high Physical Attack stat with a high Speed stat to quickly eliminate Pokemon as soon as they come out.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Natures are Created for Min/Max Builds

While it is definitely possible to make it through Pokemon Scarlet and Violet without giving a passing thought to stat allocation, competitive players will want to do everything they can to Min/Max their builds.

One of the best ways to do this is by choosing the right nature for their Pokemon. Every nature will grant one stat a buff, and a debuff to another stat, making it important to choose one that is balanced around each individual Pokemon’s playstyle.
