Fans of MultiVersus are being treated to the other half of the famous duo of Rick and Morty, as the famous mad-scientist Rick drops today as the newest playable character. While it has been hinted that Rick would be joining MultiVersus after the release of Morty on August 23, his addition to the game will surely shake things up. Rick becomes playable to all characters of the famous brawler at 10 a.m. PST today.
Rick Brings the Pain in MultiVersus
Rick was previously revealed on Twitter, showcasing his fighting style and move set. Rick is part of the Mage class of characters in MultiVersus, which means that he is a character that is best played at longer ranges. In addition, his move set promises to be disruptive to anyone on the receiving end of his wrath.
Rick features the following moves in MultiVersus:
- Yeah, Fart Bomb!: Throw a fart bomb, hitting enemies upward.
- Meeseek and Destroy: Summon a Meeseeks that runs forward, uppercuts, or readies a golf club.
- Basrick Portal Theory: Aim and Summon a max of two portals.
MultiVersus Lets Players Team Up as Iconic Characters
In addition to Rick and Morty, there are many different characters in MultiVersus that players can take control of as they battle it out. These include fan favorites such as Batman, Shaggy, Jake the Dog, Superman, and more. Fans can download MultiVersus for free on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One consoles and start duking it out as their favorite characters today.
