Rumbleverse Combos

Are you trying to become the ultimate champion in Rumbleverse? You'll need to learn these Rumbleverse Combos.

Rumbleverse, the battle royale game created by Iron Galaxy, is more of a fighting game than anything resembling other battle royale games. To become champion and be the last person standing, you must learn the essential Rumbleverse combos.

Rumbleverse Combos

Rumbleverse has 3 basic combos and longer advanced combo strings that you can pull off by getting a wall bounce.

Rumbleverse Basic Combos

Rumbleverse basic combos are performed by pressing either the light or heavy attack buttons in succession. See below for the buttons you need to push for both basic and advanced combos in Rumbleverse.

Hammer Fist

Button Combination: Light attack, Light attack, Light attack

In Rumbleverse, Hammer Fist is the most basic combo you can pull off. It is probably what you’re used to most as you mash your attack button. This will initiate 3 slaps to the opponent, knocking them down on the last hit.

Spin Kick

Button Combination: Light attack, Heavy attack

The Spin Kick results in a wall bounce, which can then be used to perform more advanced combos. This will be a critical tool in your arsenal.

Back Toss

Button Combination: Light attack, Light attack, Heavy attack

The Back Toss is the most powerful basic combo in Rumbleverse. You throw the opponent up in the air behind you, and if there is a wall there, it will result in a wall bounce, leading to longer combo strings.

Rumbleverse Advanced Combos

Rumbleverse advanced combos are performed by knocking your opponent into a wall or up in the air, then continuing the combo and adding throws and Specials.

When your opponent blinks blue, they are immune, and you can no longer combo them. This is to prevent infinite combo strings.

You can open any of these advanced combos with a stun attack by pressing and holding the light attack button. This will stack one more attack on your combo string to start things off.

Light Attack Advanced Combo

Button Combination: Spin Kick or Back Toss, Hammer Fist

This is the most basic advanced combo you can pull off, but it will double the length of any basic combo. To do this, fight your opponent near a wall. If their back is to the wall, hit them with a Spin Kick, then as they hit against the wall, run up and hit Light attack, Light attack, Light attack. If the wall is behind you, you can use a Back Toss to get the wall bounce.

Airgrab Combo

Button Combination: Spin Kick or Back Toss, Jump, Air Vicious Attack (Air Grab)

Wall bounce your opponent, then as they are juggled, do a jump and Vicious Attack to throw them. If you are near a vehicle, you can aim for it to get more air and do even more damage.

Wall Bounce into Special

Button Combination: Spin Kick or Back Toss, Special Attack

This is another “basic” advanced combo. Wall bounce your opponent, then follow up with an LB and RB (Controller) or Q and E (Keyboard) to use the Special attacks you find on the field. This may also result in an additional wall bounce.

Extending Combo Strings

As we mentioned before, it’s impossible to combo infinitely in Rumbleverse, and we’re glad a combo breaker mechanic exists, or else the game would be frustrating.

That being said, the amount of wall bounces you can get before your opponent becomes immune varies and depends on what attacks you use to follow up your basic and advanced combos.

Some attacks will naturally end the combo, like a throw, which is why it should be used to complete your combo strings.

Other combos are capable of bouncing your opponent into a wall more than once. To test this, use the Spin Kick basic combo, then use dropkick (Dash+Light attack). You’ll see you can attack the opponent for the third time. Continue to experiment with elongating your combos so you can do maximum damage in a single string.

Experiment with different combinations to see what does the most damage and what moves synergize best.
