During your adventures in Slime Rancher 2, you’ll likely encounter hard-to-reach locations. Sometimes, the only way to get to those spots is with a little boost. That’s where the Jetpack comes in handy! This guide will show you how to get the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2.
How to Get the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2
To get the Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2, visit the Fabricator in the lower level of The Conservatory, and purchase the upgrade for 450 Newbucks, 10 Radiant Ore, and 10 Phosphor Plort.
If you’re having trouble getting the materials, we can help you out. Radiant Ore is found on the islands that you unlock after Rainbow Island, which you need the Resource Harvestor upgrade to obtain with your vac. If you don’t have the upgrade, you will be unable to collect these.
Phosphor Plorts come from Phosphor Slime — these are the lightning bug-looking slimes that only come out at night. They also come out of the Phosphor Gordo Slime when it explodes. You can also find these types of slimes in the Rainbow fields at nighttime.
Once you collect 10 Radiant Ore and 10 Phosphor Plort, put the materials inside the Refinery to the right of the Fabricator. Then, assuming you have at least 450 Newbucks, you can craft the Jetpack from the Fabricator’s Upgrades tab.
The Jetpack is easy to use — simply hold the jump button, and you’ll use your energy to fly up higher. It depletes your energy pretty quickly, so you’ll probably want to get the Power Core upgrade before going all out and upgrading to a Jetpack.
