If you’ve got a bunch of canned food in Sons of the Forest and are wondering how to open them, you’ll need to get the can opener before eating.
There are many different real-life tools and items in Sons of the Forest, and one that can provide sustenance is the Can Opener. However, there are only two specific locations on the island where you can find them, but luckily we have both can opener locations right here to make it a little bit easier.
Can Opener Locations in Sons of the Forest
The can opener can come in handy when you’re hungry and have some canned food. One of the can openers is located on the southern shore with other items that washed up on the beach directly south of a cave.
The second can opener location is high up on the snowy mountain, in a camp next to a red tent. There are no real markers near this area, but you can follow the map below to find the precise location.
To use the can opener, open your inventory with I, then right-click the can of food and the Can Opener and click the gear icon. Your character will then open the can and eat what’s inside.
Maintaining your hunger in Sons of the Forest will keep your stamina at full strength, enabling you to last longer in combat or sprint longer in the game. Now that you know where you can find 2 can openers, any canned food you come across will be useful.
