There are many types of resources to collect in Sons of the Forest, including a variety of herbs and berries. One such resource to collect is called Guarana Berries, and they’re a type of herb that can be eaten straight up for a slight energy boost. Guarana Berries Location in Sons of the Forest

The easiest place to find Guarana Berries on the starting side of the island is by following the three streams that run parallel to the snowy mountain. You can find some Guarana Berry plants near the middle of the three streams in the image pictured below. You can find over 20 Guarana Berries in this one location.

Guarana Berry bushes look like ordinary plants and have red clumps of berries growing on them. These are one of the more difficult herbs to locate in Sons of the Forest. That’s primarily due to the lack of spawn points for them compared to other herbs like Chicory and Fireweed.

At the time of writing, there is no recipe we have discovered that utilizes Guarana Berries. In real life, the plant is known for its uses as a dietary supplement and stimulant. Guarana contains about twice the concentration of caffeine as coffee beans. Many energy drinks typically use it as an ingredient.

The main use of this herb in Sons of the Forest is to eat it. Eating it also provides nourishment and a slight energy boost.
