If you’re playing Sons of the Forest, there may come a time when you want to start a new game solo or join a session with your buddies. In that case, you may want to know how to skip the cinematic in the beginning since you’ve already seen it before. Here’s how to skip the intro cutscene in Sons of the Forest.
How to Skip the Intro in Sons of the Forest
You can skip the intro cutscene in Sons of the Forest by pressing and holding the “S” key on your keyboard. After pressing and holding the “S” key to skip the intro, you’ll start right at your spawn point.
It’s not exactly common sense which button you need to press to skip, as there is no onscreen prompt at the time of writing this post, so you’re not the only one wondering how to do it. Be warned, if you start a new game or join your friend’s session after a game crash, you may be prompted to watch the cutscene again. Now you know how to skip it, though, so just memorize the shortcut for next time!
