We have another exciting update from the developers over at Creative Assembly about the newest Immortal Empires update coming for Total War Warhammer 3. As their most ambitious project to date, eager Total War fanatics are chomping at the bit to get any information about the new game. Here’s everything you need to know about the Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires faction update.
Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires Faction Update
New Factions for Beloved Heros
Volkmar the Grim – The Cult of Sigmar
We’ve always known Volkmar to be a crazed religious fanatic, and he’s getting his own faction this time around, aptly named The Cult of Sigmar. We’re excited to see his flagellants throw down in insane flanks and ambush attacks. He’s going to be starting in the lower Southlands and will use his religious zeal to buff his armies.
Grombrindal – The Ancestral Throng
Grombrindal is the savage dwarf you may or may not remember that happens to hate Dark Elves. He’ll be starting in Naggaroth, creating an interesting dynamic for the early game. We’re not sure if we’re fans of the word “Throng” but it could be worse–we’re happy we won’t have to look at dwarves in g-strings.
Helman Ghorst – Caravan of Blue Roses
We always thought there was something a little different about Helman Ghorst when comparing him with the rest of the Vampire Counts. Ghorst will be leading his undead hordes on the east of the map near Nagashizzar fortress.
Vlad and Isabella Von Carstein – Sylvania
We’re interested to see what Isabella and Vlad can bring to the table. It’ll be an interesting dynamic to have 2 main Legendary Lords ruling over 1 faction.
From the Total War blog:
“Unlike the other Legendary Lords, this power couple will be staying together in undead matrimony, but will be playable within the same campaign. If you choose Vlad as your Legendary Lord, Isabella will be automatically unlocked as a hero and vice versa.”
Sigvald The Magnificent – The Decadent Host
Indeed, we’re super psyched to settle on the sickening sweetness that is Sigvald The Magnificent. Okay, we can’t do it anymore. He’ll have Slaanesh-based units and will be starting in the Northwestern Chaos Wastes.
Kholek Suneater – Heralds of the Tempest
Not much is known about Kholek besides being a playable legendary lord in the last game. We’re excited to see what kind of units he’ll possess and his abilities in the newest iteration. He’ll be starting in the north of the Mountains of Mourn.
