Pets are an optional item slot that can add a lot of benefits to your heroes in Across the Obelisk. There are over a dozen pets at the moment, and each one caters to a different playstyle. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to unlock Stormy, a Lightning pet that pairs well with electric damage heroes and builds like Wilbur.
How to Unlock Stormy in Across the Obelisk
Here’s how to unlock the Stormy pet in Across the Obelisk:
- Finish Act 1 and go through the Green portal to Act 2.
- Go to the Eastern Village zone in the middle path.
- Pick the option to examine the writing on the wall.
- Go to the South Pier and pay 600 gold for the boat.
- Head to the Naga Mural zone and decipher the mural using the naga’s notes.
Unlocking Stormy is done entirely in Act 2, but it can be a tad confusing to figure out the proper steps. First, you can complete Act 1 and go to the Green portal to Act 2. Once in Act 2, take the middle pass to the Eastern Village zone.
At the Eastern Village, all you want to do is examine the writing. Make sure not to do anything else, like fight the nagas or burn down the village. After that, go down two nodes to the South Pier.
From the South Pier, pay 600 gold to get a boat across the water to the Naga Mural zone. The Naga Mural zone is where you can unlock Stormy by choosing the option to decipher the mural using the naga notes you found from the Eastern Village.
Congratulations, you’ve unlocked Stormy! Stormy is a pet that gives +6% resistance to Lightning and casts the Lightning Bolt card every turn. The Lightning Bolt card deals 6 lightning damage and applies 2 Spark.
