As you help run Bancho Sushi and start getting the word out about your high-quality, delicious sushi, VIP guests will start to visit. Usually, these guests have a specific dish request, which requires going out and collecting rare ingredients and fish. One such request comes from a guy named Otto, and it’s a quest called A Noisy Customer. In this guide, we’ll show you how to catch Moray Eel in Dave the Diver so you can fulfill Otto’s request.

How to Catch a Moray Eel in Dave the Diver

Moray Eels are found in the waters only at nighttime, anywhere from 0 to 50 meters deep. You can catch them like you would any other fish, including using a gun, harpoon, or tranquilizer.

The most important thing to remember is that these eels do not come out during the daytime, so you’ll need to wait until it’s nighttime to dive into the water, which means your sushi restaurant will not be open for the full length of time. You can only dive once per night, and doing so reduces the time you’re open for dinner service by 33%.

You need two pieces of Moray Eel and turmeric for this quest. Therefore, you will likely need to dive down into the waters at nighttime at least twice to catch the required two Moray Eels. I made the mistake of only catching one and quickly realized Otto’s dish needed two of them.

Once you have the required ingredients, make sure to add the Moray Eel Curry to your menu, and then physically grab the dish from your chef to deliver it to Otto at the bar once it’s complete.

There you have it — that’s how to catch Moray Eel in Dave the Diver for Otto’s mission. After completing the quest, Otto will instruct you to meet him somewhere, at which point you’ll unlock something pretty useful!
