When you first make your way out of The Marrows and over to Gale Cliffs in DREDGE, you’ll encounter a Hermit who will give you a quest. The Hermit is trying to repair the relationship with his brother, a Whaler at Ingfell. Your mission is to find an old Family Crest, which was apparently taken to the cliffs by a creature. Where to Find the Family Crest in DREDGE
The Family Crest is located in a marked dredging location in the southeast portion of Gale Cliffs. You will need to do some maneuvering through the tall cliffs and through some narrow passageways, but it’s not all too difficult to find.
Once spotted, start dredging in the location and complete the usual dredging puzzle to reel in the Family Crest. Once obtained, you can take the Family Crest back to the Hermit to continue the quest. The Hermit will give you another quest to give the Family Crest to his brother, the retired Whaler, at Ingfell.
After that, you’ll get to use some explosives to blow up that pesky debris that makes navigating this area a bit frustrating.
