Jagged Alliance 3 has a colorful cast of characters that players can recruit as they gain more cash on their missions. These different characters can synergize together, and since there are higher tiers of mercenaries in the game, you’ll want to check out new contracts as you locate more diamond mines and increase your income. How to Recruit More Mercenaries in Jagged Alliance 3
To recruit more mercenaries, click the Command button on the SAT View, then select the Browser button. From here, select the mercenary you want to recruit and click the Offer button, then click Confirm to complete the hiring process.
Different mercenaries will cost a different rate. There are different classes of mercenaries, with higher-ranked mercenaries costing more in exchange for being more powerful on the battlefield. The types of mercs you can recruit include:
- Recruit
- Veteran
- Elite
- Legendary
You can adjust the Contract Duration slider to hire mercs for a longer period, often at a reduced rate. If you have the money, we suggest sliding this option to the right for the longest contract duration.
Once the contract timer is up for the mercenary, you must re-negotiate your contract. At times, mercenaries will want a higher rate, so you must re-negotiate their contract.
Certain mercs will outright refuse to work with other characters, so keep a lookout for that.
