The Modern Warfare 2 single-player campaign is quite the journey, with a few hidden items scattered throughout. Two missions have safes, the latter of which contains two. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find each safe and how to open them. Let’s take a look at all three safe combinations in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
All Safe Combinations in Modern Warfare 2 Campaign
Here are all the safe combinations in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign:
- El Sin Nombre Safe: 02-02-19
- Alone Safe 1: 10-10-80
- Alone Safe 2: 37-60-80
El Sin Nombre Safe
The safe in the “El Sin Nombre” mission is inside a closet on the second floor of the building. You can access the second floor by climbing to the roof — either by jumping onto a car in the front of the house or climbing the air conditioners outside the garage.
Once you make it to the second-floor balcony, make your way to the room across from the elevator. There’s a closet inside that room, which is where you will see the safe.
The combination to the safe in El Sin Nombre is 02-02-19. You’ll find armor plates and a shotgun inside the safe.
Alone Safe 1
The first safe in the “Alone” mission is found inside the locked office in the coffee shop. You will need to pry the door open using a rope and a fan blade to access it.
The combination to the safe in Alone is 10-10-80. You can get the clue from the calendar on the wall, which circles October 10, 2020, as the 40th anniversary of the coffee shop owners.
You’ll find a throwing knife and a 50-caliber pistol inside the safe. Unfortunately, the weapon only has five bullets, so pick your shots wisely.
Alone Safe 2
Further on toward the end of the Alone mission is another safe and the last one you’ll encounter in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. You can find this safe in the back room of El Maistro’s garage. There’s a clue on the laptop in the main room that has the code on it.
The combination to the second safe in Alone is 37-60-80. Now, this is a pretty exciting safe, as it’s the only way to obtain the Crossbow. If you don’t know, the crossbow has two bolts and can one-shot armored enemies. Despite it only having two bolts, you can pick your bolts back up after each shot.
