The release date for the free-to-play crossover fighting game from Warner Bros. Interactive and Player First Games titled MultiVersus is fast approaching. Players can start trying out their favorite characters from Warner Bros., DC Comics, Cartoon Network, and more soon in the Open Beta. But first, you’ll probably want to know when the MultiVersus Open Beta and Early Access starts.
When does the MultiVersus Open Beta Start?
The MultiVersus Open Beta begins on Tuesday, July 26, at noon Eastern Time.
There is currently no scheduled end date for the Open Beta, so it will be tentatively ongoing until the developers decide to end it.
When does MultiVersus Early Access start?
MultiVersus Open Beta Early Access begins on Tuesday, July 19.
Players eager to get in on the action have an opportunity to get Early Access to the MultiVersus open beta. Early Access is guaranteed to those who participated in the closed alpha playtest. So, if you’ve tested the game before, you will receive an invite via email. That’s not the only way to get in, though–players can get Early Access by obtaining Multiversus Twitch Drops.
Like previous playtests, players across multiple platforms will have access to the MultiVersus Open Beta. If you are one of the lucky few who got into the Closed Alpha, you will receive a code by email for your platform of choice. MultiVersus is scheduled to release in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. MultiVersus Open Beta on July 26, 2022, serves as a soft launch for the game.
