Ramattra is an Omnic in Overwatch 2 that is similar in looks to Zenyatta. However, unlike his peace-loving counterpart, Ramattra seeks to achieve peace through any means necessary. As a warrior and a trainer of other Omnics, Ramattra will be a tank hero rather than a healer like his counterpart Zenyatta. Though not officially confirmed, here’s what we know about Ramattra’s abilities and background in the Overwatch 2 universe.
Overwatch 2 Ramattra Abilities
In Overwatch 2, Ramattra will have the following abilities, as teased by the developers during the Overwatch League Grand Finals 2022:
- Omnic Form: Ramattra wields a staff that he can use to engage his foes at mid to long ranges.
- Nemesis Form: Ramattra grows in size and powers up his fists to chew through foes at close ranges and destroy enemy barriers.
- Barrier Shield: Along with this ability to hurt enemies with his staff, Ramattra can also shield his allies by projecting a barrier shield.
While it is uncertain just how exactly Ramattra’s abilities will function when he comes to Overwatch 2, one thing is certain – he will shake up the meta as the newest tank hero.
How to Unlock Ramattra in Overwatch 2
When Ramattra releases on December 6, 2022, for Season 2, Premium Season Pass holders will unlock him instantly. Free-to-play players must play for a bit before unlocking him at Season Pass Level 55.
