Lyah is the seventh character in Scarlet Tower and one of the more difficult ones to unlock. In the guide below, we’ll walk you through the process so you can learn exactly what you need to do to unlock this powerful elven character so you can get access to the Moonlight Staff.
How to Unlock Lyah in Scarlet Tower
To unlock Lyah in Scarlet Tower, start a run on Nightpine Valley with any playable character and wander in any direction at nighttime. At around the 12-minute mark, or any time during the night, pick a direction and continue in that direction until you find her. Lyah is lost in the woods, so finding her can be random.
I found Lyah by heading west at the 12:00 mark, and spotted her in the forest at 3:54.
If you have trouble surviving long enough, make sure you’re using Fusion Weapons, and you get the movement speed ability and talent power up from the main menu. You can also use a character like Vylat, who has the Bat Aspect. When you dash with Vylat, he turns into a bat for three seconds and gains 70% movement speed.
Lyah is one of the two Elf characters in the game alongside Ninn. The Elf racial trait is Twilight: the cunning nature of elves allows them to adapt to different situations. Every three minutes, elves gain +3% additional Damage if it’s day and +3% movement speed if it’s night.
Lyah’s main weapon is the Moonlight Staff, which summons the power of the moon to channel a beam of light. The beam lasts three seconds, dealing 50 damage. Here are the upgrade stats for the Moonlight Staff:
- Rank 2: Increases damage by +40
- Rank 3: Increases damage by +50
- Rank 4: Increases knockback by +150
- Rank 5: Increases area by +100% and applies Chill
The Moonlight Staff currently has no fusion weapon upgrade, but this may change in future updates. You can visit our Scarlet Tower section for more guides, walkthroughs, and updates!
