The Drone Archive Key unlocks the Archived Log dialog screens from the Research Drones, revealing more of the story in Slime Rancher 2. When you have the Drone Archive Key, you can interact with a Research Drone and press X to view the Archived Log.
The Archive Key utilizes Miles Tech decryption algorithms to unlock access to archived logs on Research Drones.
Where to Find the Drone Archive Key in Slime Rancher 2
The Drone Archive Key is given to players by Mochi Miles at the Comm Station after popping the Flutter Gordo in southern Starlight Strand.
After defeating the Flutter Gordo by feeding it 25 Moondew Nectar, players will have access to a new cave. The cave contains a Pod with the Starlight Strand Portal. You’ll also notice some new messages at the Comm Station when you return to The Conservatory. Speak with Mochi Miles, and that’s how to unlock the Drone Archive Key.
