Smalland Survive the Wilds: How to Repair Items

If you want to stay alive in the new survival game, Smalland: Survive the Wilds, repairing your gear rather than rebuilding it will save a ton of materials. Here’s how you can repair your weapons and gear in Smalland.

In Smalland, players can obtain various pieces of equipment throughout their adventures that wear down over time as they use them. This durability loss will eventually completely break the item, making it nearly useless. Luckily, there is a repair mechanic that players can use to save materials and fix their equipment and weapons.

How to Repair in Smalland: Survive the Wilds

To repair your weapons and gear in the game, construct a Workbench, then walk up to it and hit the F key. Click the Repair tab at the top, or hit E on your keyboard, and you’ll receive a list of gear that needs to be repaired. Left-click an item to repair it.

If a piece of gear or a weapon is just slightly damaged, it won’t require materials to repair. If it’s significantly damaged or broken, you will need to collect materials to repair it, but it won’t cost as much as it did to construct the item. The list of required materials for a repair will be listed in the center column of the Repair screen.

And there you have it! Now you know how to repair your weapons and gear in Smalland: Survive the Wilds. To save on mats, it’s wise that you repair your gear every time you make your way back to your base; that way, you won’t have to spend any materials on fixing your stuff.

Players can use a Ladybug to help ferry materials from base to base so that they always have the equipment they need to fix their stuff.
