How to Escape the Cage in Tchia
When your stamina goes down to 0, and you’re in a Meavora fortress, you’ll be caught and placed in a cage. To escape the cage, Soul Jump by pressing L1 then R2 on an item or animal through the bars. If there is nothing in your vicinity (there usually is), you can use Tchia’s ukelele by hitting right on the D-pad to summon an animal to Soul Jump into.
After Soul Jumping, you can exit the animal or item you took over, and you’ll be on the outside of the cage! At first, you may think there’s no way out of it and that you need to restart from the last checkpoint, but that’s not true. With just a bit of ingenuity, you can escape any situation in Tchia.
In Tchia, Soul Jumping enables players to get around hard-to-reach places or travel across far distances in the blink of an eye. It’s also a great way to get out of a bind when you get caught.
